BDM has built up and is responsible for a major health project around Lake Tanganyika. Eva and Jonas Fibiger Diemer have been employed as leaders of the project for a number of years but have now returned to Denmark.
In their place Marjo ten Kate and Bert Muizebelt are employed. The couple helped start the project back in 2006 and has started a new period in 2016 for a preliminary period of 1½ years.
And we find that the project is bearing fruit and there is great progress in the villages around Lake Tanganyika.
In connection to the project, journalist Svend Løbner has written articles that relate to this work and some of the other work that BDM is engaged in. The articles have been published in various newspapers and magazines. It is extremely interesting reading.
